Scott Baker (elbow) will be examined by doctors Tuesday and expects to be cleared to resume throwing at that time. Anthony Swarzak will start in Baker's place Sunday, but the Twins hope that's the only start he'll miss after they push him back to the No. 5 slot following the All-Star break. Baker left his last outing with a mild flexor muscle strain in his pitching elbow.
