Scott Baker (elbow) allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings Monday in his final rehab start with Low-A Kane County. Baker, out all season following Tommy John surgery, gave up six hits (including a home run) and no walks while striking out four. The right-hander is slated to join the Cubs later this week in a long relief role. He will hit the free agent market this winter.
