Schoop will go to the DL a PCL tear and MCL sprain in his right knee after tripping over a base Friday, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. There's no timetable on when Schoop can return, but Buck Showalter is optimistic he can back sometime in 2015, according to Eduardo Encinca of The Baltimore Sun. Jimmy Paredes will be called up to replace Schoop on the roster. Long term, Everth Cabrera and Ryan Flaherty can be expected to man second base in Schoop's absence.
