Schoop went 2-for-4 with his first home run of the season Friday against the Blue Jays. Schoop only started two of the first three games of the season when the Orioles decided to reward Ryan Flaherty with playing time. It seems as though Schoop may have to earn his playing time this season. So far, he is outperforming Flaherty by going 3-for-10, while the home run is his only extra-base hit.
