Scahill was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Scahill will return for his third stint with the big club this season. The right-hander pitched reasonably well in his first 12 appearances with Pittsburgh, allowing four runs on nine hits in 11.1 innings, but Scahill will need to cut down the free passes if he hopes to avoid riding the shuttle throughout most of the year.
