Santana took fly balls in the outfield before Friday's game and manager Paul Molitor said he may be used in centerfield, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Santana flew out as a pinch hitter but didn't play in the field in Friday's loss to Milwaukee. The Twins had said earlier in the season that Santana would move to shortstop, but his struggles in the field and at the plate this season as well as Byron Buxton's injury, could see him move back to centerfield while Buxton is out. However, Santana's time in centerfield could be short with Aaron Hicks likely to return from the DL shortly after starting a rehab assignment at Triple-A Rochester.
