Santana is out of the lineup Tuesday in Cincinnati, LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. After starting three straight games at shortstop, Santana will give way to Eduardo Nunez on Tuesday. The injury to Byron Buxton (thumb) has led to Eduardo Escobar playing more left field, in turn freeing up more at-bats for Santana at shortstop. With Aaron Hicks (forearm) now nearing a return, Santana may find those at-bats harder to come by.
