Santana is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Santana has established some offensive momentum with back-to-back 2-for-4 displays in his last two starts, but it doesn't appear that manager Paul Molitor has yet entrusted him as the team's regular option at shortstop. Both Eduardo Nunez, who will draw the start Sunday, and Eduardo Escboar remain firmly in the picture for at-bats.
