Sanchez will have his next start pushed back a day and will throw against the Red Sox on Friday in Toronto, the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jays are going to plan as much as they can to give Sanchez some breaks throughout the season to keep him in the rotation as long as possible. He has never pitched more than 130 innings in any season and could blow past that level sometime in July. Earlier this season, the Jays brought Drew Hutchison up from Buffalo for a spot start, something they will probably repeat.
