Sanchez (upper body) will be placed on the 15-day disabled list prior to his scheduled start Tuesday against the Mets, John Iott of the National Post reports. The Blue Jays are characterizing Sanchez's injury, which has kept him off the mound since June 6, as upper-body soreness. Since he already hasn't pitched in more than a week, Sanchez would be eligible to return from the DL on June 22, though it's not clear if he'll be fully recovered by that point. While Sanchez is out, Scott Copeland is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday to make the start.
