Sanchez (lat strain) threw two innings and gave up a couple runs Tuesday in the Florida Gulf Coast League in a rehab outing as he works to build back up to a starter's workload, the Associated Press reports. He will need at least a few more rehab appearances before the Blue Jays can consider re-inserting him into the big league rotation. The Jays understandably don't want to pull the plug on developing Sanchez as a starter, but in related news, his latest fill-in, Felix Doubront, pitched a gem Tuesday in a win over the White Sox. After the All-Star break Toronto will be nearer to having to make a decision about what to do with Sanchez and which starter will get the boot if they opt to go that route.
