Ryu was placed on the 60-day disabled list Monday. Ryu's move to the 60-day disabled list is likely more procedural than anything, making room on the 40-man roster for the newly-acquired Matt West from the Blue Jays. He won't be eligible to rejoin the club until May 26, but he'll continue to work his way back to reach that date. The southpaw is scheduled to throw a live batting practice session at some point this week, but there's no specifically scheduled date for that at this time.
