Ryu (shoulder) will throw a simulated game Thursday in Arizona, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles News Group reports.

The sim game, which will consist of two 20-pitch innings, will be Ryu's first since undergoing shoulder surgery last May. He may need a couple live sessions before heading out on what is expected to be lengthy minor league rehab assignment. The Dodgers are hoping to have Ryu back in the major league rotation sometime in May.
