Ryu (shoulder) is "doubtful" to pitch for the remainder of the regular season, but remains optimistic he'll be part of the rotation during the postseason, David Vassegh of 570 AM Los Angeles reports. Ryu hasn't pitch since allowing four earned runs in a single inning back on Sept. 12, and has been unable to throw since then due to shoulder irritation. The hope is that he can begin throwing at some point this weekend, and from there, he'll look to build up strength prior to the start of the playoffs. Although he was once a speculative candidate to start Monday for the Dodgers, it now appears that fantasy owners are unlikely to see additional contributions from Ryu for the remainder of the regular season.
