Ryan went 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in his season debut Wednesday against the Nationals. He started at shortstop, ended up shifting to first base, and ultimately was lifted for a pinch-hitter. After missing the first two months and change with a calf injury, he should be in line to see significant time at short, as the Yankees have been looking for answers there all year.
