The Tigers will swap out lefty relievers heading into their weekend series against the White Sox by optioning Ryan and recalling Blaine Hardy from Toledo. Ryan worked a 3.20 ERA with nine strikeouts and three walks across 19.2 innings of work during his recent stint with the Tigers. He figures to be on a short list of potential call-ups down the line should the Tigers need another lefty reliever.
