Ryan was optioned to Triple-A Toledo after Saturday night's game against the White Sox, Michigan Live reports. Ryan pitched in the second half of a doubleheader Saturday, hurling six shutout innings and striking out one batter. He will be recalled again on Tuesday, so the 22-year-old will be back with the Tigers shortly.
