Washington Nationals outfielder Ryan Raburn was released, according to Mark Zuckerman of the Washington Post. The 36-year-old had mentioned earlier in camp that he would retire if he did not make the team's Opening Day roster, so we will see if he has any desire to latch on elsewhere or if he willl retire. Raburn was just 2-for-25 (.080) with eight strikeouts in Grapefruit League competition this spring.
