Ryan Dempster was not listed on Team Canada's provisional WBC roster released on Saturday.
This doesn't come as a tremendous surprise, as Dempster indicated last month that he would likely pass on the WBC. It's encouraging to see that his main goal this offseason is to get himself ready to pitch for the Red Sox.
