Ryan (calf) was activated from the 60-day disabled list and will bat ninth for the Yankees and play shortstop Wednesday. Ryan will finally make his first start of the season for the Yankees on Wednesday, pushing Didi Gregorius to the bench and Ramon Flores off the 25-man roster. It's unclear how much playing time he'll see moving forward, but given Gregorius' .232/.288/.304 batting line this season, a strong showing offensively could lead to more starts.
