Correa (heel) ran full speed for the first time in a week Thursday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "We need to get him to where he's comfortable running on a daily basis, not having soreness the next day," said Twins head athletic trainer Nick Paparesta.
EDGE Analysis
Correa was placed on the 10-day injured list July 20 due to right plantar fasciitis. It initially didn't appear he would be out long, but he still experienced pain in his heel in early August when jogging. It sounds like he's ramped up his activity in recent days, but there's still no timetable for when he may begin a rehab assignment.
