Verdugo (back) has been ruled out for the NLDS, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The soonest he will be able to return would be for Game 1 of the NLCS, which is scheduled for Oct. 11. Verdugo has been on the shelf since Aug. 4.
