Ruben Tejada went 0-for-3 with a walk on Friday against the Rockies and is hitting just .200 through 26 games. Tejada has 13 walks and a .318 on-base percentage, but that's not as impressive as it looks. Hitting No. 8 in front of the pitcher, five of the walks are intentional. If Tejada continues to struggle, it will be interesting to see if the Mets give Wilmer Flores a chance at shortstop, even with all the doubts about his range. Flores jammed his finger in a game with Triple-A Las Vegas over the weekend, but he managed to avoid a fracture.
