Ruben Tejada left Wednesday's game against the Yankees with a quad injury. It's not clear at this point how severe the malady is, but it's worth noting that he dealt with a quad injury during spring training and last season. Tejada might have been in line for a demotion soon, anyway, so the Mets could hide him on the DL instead.
