Royals signed RHP Cory Wade to a minor league contract. It's not clear whether he's been given an invitation to spring training. Wade spent all of 2013 at the Triple-A level in three different organization, compiling a 3.86 ERA with 51 strikeouts over 67 2/3 innings. He'll represent minor league depth.
