Royals placed RHP Felipe Paulino on the 60-day disabled list with a right elbow injury. Paulino is on his way back from Tommy John surgery and is not expected to be ready to pitch in live games until the middle of the 2013 season. He won't be eligible to return from the 60-day disabled list until May 30.
