Royals manager Ned Yost announced Monday that he will use six starts in order to keep rookie left-hander Danny Duffy in the starting rotation. Duffy appeared bound for the minors, but he apparently bought himself some time by allowing two runs over seven innings against the Cubs on Saturday. The southpaw is now slated to toe the rubber Friday against the Rockies while Kyle Davies will return from the disabled list to start Saturday.
