The Kansas City Royals view starting pitcher Danny Duffy as a key part of their rebuild and will not trade him unless the offer is "ridiculous," according to MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan. Duffy is signed through the 2021 season. The left-hander has been up and down this year, and pitching for a bad Royals team hasn't helped. He's 6-8 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 8.0 K/9 over 21 starts.
