Royals activated OF Norichika Aoki from the 15-day disabled list. Aoki is hitting leadoff and is in right field on Friday against the Tigers. He batted just .263/.326/.324 over 68 games before going down with a groin injury and might not receive regular playing time once Alex Gordon (wrist) returns.
