Roy Oswalt struck out 11 in his Rockies debut Thursday, but he took a loss after giving up four runs in five innings. Despite all of the strikeouts, the Nationals got to Oswalt for nine hits, one of them a solo homer. It was still a good sign that Oswalt was throwing strikes and missing bats. He'll have a tough assignment against the Red Sox in Fenway next time out.
