Roy Oswalt (hamstring) will be activated from the disabled list and appear in Sunday's game in San Diego. It's not known yet whether he'll start the game or come in after Chad Bettis. Given Bettis' 5.45 ERA and 1.79 WHIP over seven starts, the smart money would be on Oswalt getting the call. The veteran right-hander has been on the shelf since early July with a strained left hamstring.
