Roy Oswalt fanned nine batters over eight scoreless innings in Saturday's 5-0 defeat of the Nationals. Oswalt was originally scheduled to start on Friday night, but that game was rained out. The veteran right-hander had no trouble carving through the Nationals' light-hitting lineup one day later, scattering eight hits and walking just one. Oswalt has a 3.51 ERA and 1.35 WHIP so far this season.
