Ross (shoulder) threw a simulated game at Nationals park on Tuesday, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ross has been sidelined since early July with shoulder inflammation but has proceeded through his rehab with no setbacks so far. He began throwing off flat ground several weeks ago, took part in pregame drills Friday, and has now taken another step forward by tossing a simulated game. It's unclear whether he'll require a rehab assignment but he appears near the tail-end of his DL stint.
