The team will take a conservative approach by putting the right-hander on the DL, a move that also freed up a roster spot for Sunday's starter, Stephen Strasburg. There has been little indication of a serious ailment in play, but the team is unlikely to update his condition until after the All Star break. Ross will first be eligible to return July 17.
