Ross allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five batters over four innings during Sunday's win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
With Washington putting 23 runs on the board, it's discouraging that Ross couldn't navigate his way through five innings and collect the win. It's also the second consecutive game he's failed to pitch five frames. There's definitely upside here, though. The 23-year-old righty posted a 3.52 ERA and 8.0 K/9 over 35 games the past two seasons, after all. Ross will look to put it all together in his next start against Philadelphia.
