Rollins will serve as the White Sox's Opening Day shortstop, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Robin Ventura said the lineup he used Tuesday will be the one he uses next Monday in Oakland. Rollins started at short and hit second in Tuesday's lineup. Rollins earned the spot with a youthful spring (four home runs, .362 OBP), but one might expect utility man Tyler Saladino to spell him frequently in the field. Rollins is not yet on the 40-man roster, but he should be shortly.
