Rockies transferred RHP Juan Nicasio from the 15-day day to the 60-day disabled list. He was transferred in order to make room for Alex White on the active roster. Nicasio has made major strides since suffering a fractured C-1 vertebrae in his neck earlier this month and could do some throwing as soon as November in the Dominican instructional league.
