Rockies signed RHP Aaron Cook to a minor league contract. Cook was released by the Phillies on Tuesday after posting a 3.38 ERA and 5/4 K/BB ratio over 18 2/3 innings this spring. The 34-year-old was originally drafted by the Rockies in 1997 and posted a 4.53 ERA over 10 seasons with the club. While it's possible that he'll resurface in the major league rotation soon, he'll serve as minor league depth for the time being.
