Rockies signed INF Brendan Harris to a minor league contract. Harris spent all of the 2011 season at Triple-A in the Orioles organization, producing an ugly .225/.282/.331 batting line with 10 homers. The Rockies will have a competition in spring training for the third base job, but Harris almost surely will be on the outside looking in.
