Rockies placed OF Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 9, with a neck strain. The Rockies waited a few days for Cuddyer to get better, but he just wasn't progressing as quickly as hoped. He should be ready to return from the disabled list when eligible or shortly after. The club will continue to use Eric Young in right field while Cuddyer is on the shelf.
