Rockies placed OF Carlos Gonzalez on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained right middle finger. CarGo was cleared by doctors to play through the sprain and gave it a real shot, but the discomfort only got worse and won't go away unless he rests for a significant period of time. He'll look to return to Colorado's active roster around the end of this month. Gonzalez was batting .302/.367/.591 with 26 homers and 21 steals.
