Rockies optioned RHP Wilton Lopez to Triple-A Colorado Springs. It's been quite a fall for Lopez, who was a great reliever and occasional closer just a couple years ago with the Astros. He was inconsistent last year with the Rox and was blasted for eight runs and 18 hits over his first 6 1/3 relief innings this season. Lopez will try to regroup at the minor league level.
