Rockies optioned RHP Adam Ottavino to Triple-A Colorado Springs. He was cleared to make room for Wednesday's starter Christian Friedrich on the active roster. Ottavino was just called up from the minors over the weekend and struck out four over 2 2/3 innings during his brief stay with the big club. He'll likely be back at some point.
