Rockies and RHP Wilton Lopez avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.2 million contract. Lopez posted an underwhelming 4.06 ERA and 48/18 K/BB ratio over 75 1/3 innings last season, but the Rockies are optimistic that he'll have better results in 2014. The 30-year-old was arbitration-eligible for the second time this winter.
