Robertson was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.

Although not included among the team's first wave of September callups, Robertson will get an opportunity to serve in a reserve role with the big club over the final weeks of the season. Robertson hit .288 in a small sample with the Angels earlier this season, but he posted a less than stellar .265/.332/.343 batting line with Salt Lake.
