Robertson, in his second start since his callup earlier this week, doubled and hit a run-scoring single Thursday in a loss at Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
The Mariners had been carrying 13 pitchers but wanted to get their position players more rest, so Robertson got the call. He played 107 games with the Angels in 2014-15. Robertson will get a start here and there to give outfielders rest, but probably won't get too many at-bats. If the Mariners choose to add another pitcher again or if Nori Aoki is recalled, Robertson likely will be sent to Triple-A over utilityman Shawn O'Malley, who plays infield and outfield.
