Robertson declined the $15.3 million qualifying offer from the Yankees on Monday, Jack Curry of the YES Network reports. Robertson has decided to seek out a long-term deal rather than agree to a one-year deal with the Yankees with a high pay grade. He will likely receive less on an annual basis that the $15.3 million he would make in 2015, but should have more security. The Yankees probably still remain an option for Robertson, but if he goes elsewhere, Dellin Betances could take over his closer role in New York.
