Robertson blew his first save of the season Sunday afer he allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits Sunday against the Reds.
The White Sox scored in the bottom half of the inning to give Robertson his third win of the season. Robertson dug himself into a hole by allowing back-to-back singles to begin the inning, and then catcher Geovany Soto widened that hole with a passed ball. Robertson stopped the bleeding with back-to-back strikeouts to Billy Hamilton and Marlon Byrd. The runs he allowed were the first he had allowed all year, so there is not much to worry about here. Robertson's role is very secure, and he should earn saves more rapidly if the White Sox are able to turn around their season.
