Robbie Grossman (oblique) has begun hitting off a tee, but still doesn't appear close to returning to the Astros. Grossman hasn't appeared in a game since sustaining the injury on September 3. The Astros don't want to rush him back and risk re-injury, and time is running out for him to return before the end of the season. The 24-year-old outfielder is slashing .268/.332/.370 with four homers, 21 RBI and six stolen bases in his rookie season.
