Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports that left-hander Cedrick Bowers worked out for the Red Sox on Saturday. Bowers hasn't appeared in the majors since 2010 and was out of baseball last season. If signed, he would serve in an organizational depth role with the Red Sox.
